Rev'd Canon Dr. Shadrach Ofosuware
Profile
Reverend Dr Shadrach Ofosuware was called by God into ministry about 30 years ago with a mandate to undertake the task of ‘Raising Overcomers and Setting the Captives Free’. He has an unquestionable passion for souls and a desire to totally eradicate poverty from the body of Christ. Aside his vast teaching material, he has authored two books titled ‘War on Poverty’ and ‘Christian Counselling and Biblical Psychology’.
His life is a testimony to what he believes in, that knowledge is a vital tool in sending “poverty to the scrap yard”. Dr Shadrach studied for a Bachelor of Arts degree in the Former Yugoslavia and also holds master’s degrees in theology from Westminster College and University of Oxford. He obtained a Doctorate degree from F.I.C.U. California, U.S.A.
His zeal for the work of God has been recognized across the world. In 2017 the Kumasi Anglican Church in Ghana honoured him as the first Pentecostal minister to be installed as a canon at the Kumasi Cathedral. Dr Shadrach has a heart for community work.
He is the vice chair for Ghana Christian Council UK and Ireland (GCCUK) the official umbrella body endorsed by the Ghana High Commission UK and Ireland, and the Ghana Union UK to mobilize and unite Ghanaians to serve God and country. He is a steering committee member for Common Purpose, an independent UK based international leadership development organisation.
He is also the chairman for International Commission of Ministers (ICOM) a Christian based non-denominational ministerial body with membership across the world as well as a Fellow of the Royal Society for the encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce (FRSA), an enlightenment organisation committed to finding innovative practical solutions to today’s social challenges.
Dr Shadrach Ofosuware is the Pastor in Charge of Freedom Centre International (FCI) worldwide, a church-based charity registered in the United Kingdom under the Universal Prayer Group Ministry with branches in Luton, Telford, Edinburgh, UK; Dallas Texas, USA and Accra, Ghana.
Through his ministry he has preached to thousands in every continent. His TV ministry ‘Freedom Walk’ is broadcast in the UK and Africa and continues to impact the lives of many.
His passion to raise a generation of leaders and his dynamic and charismatic teaching style has seen the church become one of the fastest growing multicultural churches in London.
Pastor Shadrach is married to Pastor Dorothy Ofosuware, Co-Apostle of FCI worldwide churches, and they are blessed with three children.

Pastor Dorothy Ofosuware is the First Lady and Co-Apostle of Freedom Centre International (FCI), a fast growing multicultural charismatic/Pentecostal church headquartered in London, United Kingdom overseeing branches in Edinburgh, Luton, Telford U.K; Accra, Ghana; Dallas, Texas, U.S.A.
Under FCI she has founded Women of a Different Spirit, a dynamic women’s ministry with a strong vision to empower and liberate women and seeing to the wellbeing and welfare of disadvantaged individuals from all nationalities.
Pastor Dorothy has a unique calling as a teacher of the word of God and has been doing so from her youth. Her practical down-to-earth approach brings hope, inspiration and transformation wherever she ministers. Through her intercessory ministry various key prayer initiatives thrive within the ministry.
Over the years, she has actively influenced the Children and Youth Ministries of FCI branches, many of whom are very active within the church. She has been instrumental in shaping the thinking of many and helping them pursue their God-given talents and abilities.
Pastor Dorothy has sponsored adopted children internationally through Women of a Different Spirit and continues to support projects aimed at disadvantaged communities.
She has spearheaded the Titus project which brings together Christian medical professionals to offer periodic free health care checks within the church. This project will be rolled across the community offering health care and advisory services focusing on women.
Pastor Dorothy is a qualified lecturer with over 20 years’ experience in training at post-16 educational institutions.
She is the author of ‘Hannah’ and ‘Rebekah at the Well’.
Pastor Dorothy is married to Dr Shadrach Ofosuware, Apostle and leader of FCI worldwide churches, with whom she has been blessed with three children.
