Nahum 1:7

The Lord is good, a Strength and Stronghold in the day of trouble; He knows (recognizes, has knowledge of, and understands) those who take refuge and trust in Him.

 

Assume you travel and find yourself alone. It is raining heavily, and you seek shelter in a house. The winds beat against that house violently, there is thunder, lightning, yet the house does not fall or collapse. The place is safe because its foundation is on a rock. God is our Foundation, our Rock, our Safety! When you run to God, He is the strong tower, and we, the righteous, will always find safety in Him. The scriptures are full of the safety and protection of our supreme God.

 

God will protect and care for those who come to Him even in the midst of suffering and intense trial. He is our Rock, our Fortress, our Deliverer, Comforter in whom we take refuge. He is our Shield, the Horn of our salvation and our Stronghold. So you have to keep believing and trusting in God! We are safe with Him and in Him. He will consistently and unwaveringly watch over us.
